Meet Bria, Owner & Head Trainer of Bodies by B

Her undergraduate background in Behavioural Psychology, and her current work through her Master of Science in Psychology, has given Bria the knowledge and tools to help you make a long-term, lifestyle and behaviour change towards achieving balance.

Bria competed in trampoline for 4 years and then competitive cheerleading for 6 years, attending the World Championships at Disney World, Orlando, twice. Bria then coached competitive cheerleading for 7 years where she was able to develop her coaching skills and abilities. She has continued her love of fitness, working out and healthy eating for over 8 years and has recently pursued her passion by becoming certified as a Personal Training Specialist.

Meet Nancy, Yoga Instructor for Bodies by B

My name is Nancy and I frickin love yoga! I’ve struggled with existing in my body for most of my life and physical activity was very traumatic for a long time; that is until I found the wonders of Yin Yoga. Suddenly I found a place within myself I could call home and knew that I wanted to share this sense of unity with as many people as possible.

I’m a firm believer in holistic health – you cannot have a healthy body without a healthy mind and spirit. What I love about Yin Yoga is that it combines all three in a gentle practice aimed to reconnect you with parts of yourself you may have forgotten were there.

Outside of yoga, I enjoy exploring the spiritual and existential aspects of living and have found deep joy in reading tarot and oracle. When in doubt, shuffle! I also really love my cat Ginny, though she thinks I put the mat out for her most days… she’s a sassy little girl with a big heart and plenty of snuggles to share. Other passions of mine include cooking, crafting, and crochet! Can anyone say grandma in training??

I am so looking forward to journeying with you and connecting as we travel down our unique paths. It would be an honour to share this space with you and I hope to see you in class!
